Some of the questions you may have should be
answered below. If you have questions that
aren't dealt with below just CONTACT
ME and I'll get right back to you
with an answer. (Hey, sure, you can ask me
absolutely anything :-) |

- How long have you been
singing and writing songs?
If you look at the
ICU
page you'll learn about how
and when I began singing in
earnest. I began writing
songs while I was in
ICU as
well. Many of the songs
I've written have never been
heard by people (or very few
people) which is really,
really good. Song
writing is an experiential
type of thing and I believe
I've gotten better at it over
the years. My advice to
anyone interested in writing
songs is to just do it.
You're first song may not be
ready for prime time, but
you'll never write the second
one if you don't write the
first one.
- Why should I support your
ministry by purchasing a
CD?
That is a very good
question. I would say
first, read the lyrics of some
of the songs and see if you
are moved by them. Second, if
you have any questions about
my beliefs, goals or ministry
write and ask me. Third,
pray about it! Any
ministry you support should be
a part of your overall
stewardship plan with God -
make sure he's part of your
decision. And, lastly,
because you share, in some
sense, my vision or my goals -
that is, to help people
experience Jesus in a more
intimate and powerful way.
- Who is my favorite
Christian artist?
Hard call. I really like
Hillsongs Worship, Bebo
Norman, and Third Day. I
also like a lot of the more
cutting edge Christian music
(too many to list here) and a
some of the old school
Christian rock like Barren
Cross, Tourniquet, Stryper and
etc.. I also listen to my
own music a lot - not because
it's better than the other
music out there - mainly so I
can critique it, consider
different ways to sing it,
harmonize with it, change it,
rearrange it, or chuck it out
(some songs just never quite
come together).
- When do you think the
new CD's will be ready?
My final mix of "I Worship
You" if finally done. I've
been tweaking it for awhile (btw
if you have a CD that doesn't
have my name written on it (on
the actually CD label) then you
don't have a final mix CD.
If you'd like one just send your
old one (so I can chuck it out,
the new one's better) and I'll
send you the final version.
So....the new CD, "I Had a
Dream" will hopefully be done in
early 2006. I'll be
working on it in earnest after
summer.
Remember, if you have a
question that hasn't been asked
just contact
me and I'll get right
back to you. I may post your
question on this page if it is
likely to impact others as
well. Thanks! |
